Ink: Choose black ink on white or off-white acid-free paper or on plant-based handmade paper made in the Himalayas. The handmade paper has a pale beige-pink shade, a vintage-style texture and natural flecks and imperfections.
Shipping: Carefully packed in a sturdy cardboard envelope and usually prepared in less than 2 days. Estimated delivery: within 2 days for Germany; 2–4 days for Europe; 10–20 business days (approximately 4 weeks) for the US, Canada, Australia and other non-EU destinations. Transit stops and customs delays may extend these estimates. If anything goes wrong along the way, please get in touch so we can work it out together.
Framing Tip: Sold unframed. Pair this A4 print with an IKEA RIBBA 30 × 40 cm frame and a passepartout (mat), leaving a border around the print for a gallery-style finish. Choose a mat opening that keeps the artwork and signature visible.

My Printmaking Creative Process

I carve the design by hand, working through the flowers and leaves that bring this blooming couple to life, then hand-print each impression using high-quality inks. The two paper and ink combinations give the piece a different mood: black on white or off-white paper creates a striking contrast, while the textured handmade paper feels soft and earthy. I love the natural flecks and irregularities in the plant-based paper, which add their own character alongside the small variations of hand-printing.

I imagined a couple blooming with flowers and leaves, their connection becoming something living, tender and always changing. For me, the botanical details speak to the care that relationships need and the beauty that grows from it. I wanted to bring that feeling into a home as a quiet reminder of partnership, family and belonging.
