My Printmaking Creative Process

I hand-carve my design into a lino block, then ink and hand-pull each print individually. The bold lines of the carved design meet the distinctive surface of the handmade paper, giving every impression its own character. I love how the paper’s texture and small irregularities become part of the finished artwork rather than something to hide.
