Bring a little woodland daydream into your home with Forest Dream, an original hand-printed linocut. A woman’s hair becomes a dream landscape with a bird on her shoulder, capturing a quiet connection with nature.

  • Medium: Original linocut, hand-carved and hand-pressed by me.
  • Edition & Signature: Artist’s signature included within the print area.
  • Paper Size: A5, 148 × 210 mm (5.8 × 8.3 inches). Choose smooth, high-quality white paper for a crisp, modern look, or warm-toned, textured handmade paper with deckled edges for an earthy, organic feel.
  • Artwork Size: 110 × 160 mm, including the artist’s signature.
  • Ink: Blue or black, available on either white or handmade paper. Select your preferred combination
  • Shipping: Carefully packed in a sturdy cardboard envelope and usually prepared in less than 2 days. Estimated delivery: within 2 days for Germany; 2–4 days for Europe; 10–20 business days (approximately 4 weeks) for the US, Canada, Australia and other non-EU destinations. Transit stops and customs delays may extend these estimates. If anything goes wrong along the way, please get in touch so we can work it out together.
  • Framing Tip: Sold unframed. Pair this A5 print with an IKEA RIBBA 21 × 30 cm frame and a passepartout (mat) that leaves a border around the print for a gallery-style finish.

My Printmaking Creative Process

I hand-carve the design and hand-press each print myself, bringing details to life in ink. I love how a different paper or ink colour can change the mood of the same piece: smooth white paper lets the lines stand out cleanly, while textured handmade paper adds warmth and an old-world charm. Small differences in ink density and texture are part of the process, giving each impression its own handmade character.

Forest Dream Inspiration

For a while now, I live and have my studio close to a forest and a lake in Berlin, and I go there often to recharge.  Forest Dream grew from those moments when the mind leaves the city behind and wanders into the woods. I wanted to capture that peaceful headspace, where thoughts bloom into branches, berries and leaves, and a bird’s song is all you need to hear. The woman’s hair transforms into a living landscape, a gentle reminder to keep a little of the wild growing inside us wherever we are. For nature lovers, gardeners and anyone happiest lost in a good book, this print brings a little magic and tranquillity to a bedroom, reading nook or creative workspace.
